At Datavations we use a sophisticated web conference tool that allows us to train ArchiOffice® clients via the World Wide Web.

All you need is a web browser and a telephone to join the conference call. You will see the instructor's desktop in your browser and be able to watch them demonstrate ArchiOffice® functionality in a logical and efficient manner.

Classes are conducted in small groups of students, or privately one-on-one, online with the instructor, and are scheduled as frequently as necessary. In addition, onsite training and installation assistance can be purchased separately.

Datavations Supportech offers an extensive list of specialized ArchiOffice® training courses designed to meet individual users needs. Each training course is conducted online using our sophisticated web conference center, classes focus on a specific area, and depending on the class, go into extensive detail. Students can participate and ask questions as they are shown "how to do it" and the "tips and techniques" involved.

Depending on duration, classes cost credits, and can be purchased on-line from our eStore at the rate of $59/credit.

The available training courses include:

  • Administrator Training:
    This training course will focus on how to setup ArchiOffice for your firm. This includes User account creation and management (Details, Preferences, Security, Email, and Reports), general System preferences (Default, Logos, and Menus), data Import (Contact and Time), setting up and maintaining the Document management system (Paths, Types, and Templates), Transaction settings (Billing, Accounting, and Tax), Web Access (Extranet, Test Track) and software Registration.
  • User Training:
    This training course will demonstrate to the ArchiOffice User general system navigation, contact management, creating and checking in documents, accessing projects and completing tasks, entering time and expense items, how to use the calendar, basic reporting, and how to send and receive emails from the system.
  • Project Management Training:
    This training course will focus on how to maintain a master checklist of tasks for all project phases, project creation including adding phases, job codes, team members, rates, contacts, customizing the project filing system, maintaining the project tasks, assignments and due dates, and establishing a budget for each phase of the project. It also includes a detailed look at the project related reports, creating new projects from existing projects and template projects, and sending and retrieving project emails.
  • Billing Training:
    This training course will focus on how to setup and perform billing with ArchiOffice. It covers project budgets, time and expenses, billing methods, cap and nocap fees, terms, interest, tax models, invoice format options, invoice generation for specific date ranges, modification of invoices, deletion of invoices, posting of retainer deposits, payments, refunds and credits, additional retainer deposits and retainer disbursements. The Billing, Time/Expense, and Reports module, are also reviewed in depth.
  • Document Customization Training:
    This training course will focus on how to setup ArchiOffice Document Management system, maintenance of the filing system, modifying the ArchiOffice templates, and creating your own templates with Word, Excel and other applications.
  • Accounting Integration Training:
    This training course will focus on how to setup ArchiOffice accounting preferences to properly code all exported transactions for General Ledger accounts including expense items. It will also demonstrate how to prepare the transaction file, export the transaction file, review and edit the file in Excel, import the file into QuickBooks Pro, and unlock the accounting process.
  • Custom Personalized Training:
    Do you need some help in specific areas setting up ArchiOffice?
    Are you new to ArchiOffice and need additional help with setting up existing projects in ArchiOffice?
    Do you need assistance to get billing done?
    You tell us what you need, and we will help, working with you one-on-one on an hourly basis.
  • Onsite Training:
    Onsite training can be provided by Datavations Supportech. Contact support to inquire more about the cost and availability. Keep in mind that our online training classes are very good, and typically adequate for the vast majority of companies. Onsite training is far more expensive, mostly because of travel costs and duration (typically 7 hours onsite).
