	Steven Burns AIA, Chief Executive Officer, is a principal of Burns + Beyerl Architects (BBA), a Chicago design firm established in 1993. He is a member of the Technology in Architectural Practice and the Project Management forums of the AIA. Steve is also a member of the Construction Specifications Institute and the Association of Licensed Architects. Steve received his M.Arch degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1986 and his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Cum Laude degree from Syracuse University in 1980. Before founding BBA, Steven spent 7 years as an Associate at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (Chicago), serving as Project Architect on major international projects in London, Seoul, Kyoto and Berlin. After leaving SOM, he returned to Chicago where he founded BBA. Steven is married to Victoria Burns, an art consultant, and they have two children.

	Richard Becker AIA, Director of Marketing, is principal of Becker Architects, a Highland Park, IL firm. Prior to forming Becker Architects in 1982, Richard worked for Skidmore Owings and Merrill and Bartos & Rhodes, both New York City firms. Richard serves on the Highland Park Zoning Board Appeals and was formerly Vice Chairman of the Highland Park Preservation Commission. He has led workshops on Working with an Architect for Chicago AIA. Richard was raised in the Washington DC area, has a B. Arch from Syracuse University. He is married to architect Nancy Becker and they have five children, one of whom may be a future architect.

	Gary Dotzlaw, Chief Technology Officer, is also a principal of Datavations LLC, a Chicago based software development and consulting firm that specializes in client-server application development for companies around the world. He has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience with numerous global companies, over 15 years experience delivering technology solutions, and 6 years of R&D experience. He has extensive qualifications in all facets of the project lifecycle, including initial feasibility analysis, conceptual design, technical design, implementation and deployment. He is a frequent speaker at international software development conferences. Gary is married to Dr. Teresa Miller, has two children, and would rather be fishing then working.

	Russell J. Cerqua CPA, VP Worldwide Sales & Marketing, is also a principal of Datavations LLC, a Chicago based software development and consulting firm that specializes in client-server application development for companies around the world. Russ has more than 9 years of experience in public accounting, 11 years experience in public company finance and 7 years experience in technology and management consulting. Russ is married to Julie Cerqua and has two children.

	Gary Beyerl AIA, co-Founder and Board Member, also a principal of Burns + Beyerl Architects (BBA), Chicago, was educated at Syracuse University, receiving a B. Arch in 1984. While at Syracuse he spent a year as President of the Architectural Student Government and was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi medal in 1984 for Leadership and Service by the faculty and classmates. Gary’s employment experience included a stint at Krueck and Olsen Architects where he gained invaluable experience in the fine art of detailing buildings, and nine years at Booth/Hansen & Associates, both Chicago firms. Gary is married to architect Dawn Heid and they have one child.
